Adding Images to eSlides

Aperio eSlide Manager allows you to add one or more images to an eSlide or gross images to a specimen. To add an image to an eSlide:

1. From the Digital Slides menu at the top of the Aperio eSlide Manager page, click List All Digital Slides or View All Digital Slides as Folders.

2. Select one or more eSlides by clicking the check box beside them, then clicking Open Data to display eSlide details.

3. In the Digital Slides Images section, click Add Image.

4. On the Add Image of Digital Slide page, click the top radio button if you want to add a link to an image on the server (recommended if it is extremely large), then browse to the file, or click the lower radio button to upload a file from your workstation and click Select Images to navigate to it.

5. Click Add to add the image or Cancel to abandon your changes.

To add a gross image to a specimen:

1.  On the specimen list page, click the check box beside the specimen to which you wish to add a gross image.

2. Click Open Data.

3. In the Specimen Gross Images section of the Specimen Details window, click Add Image.

4. When the Add Gross Image to Specimen page appears, click the top radio button if you want to add a link to an image on the server (recommended if it is extremely large), then browse to the file, or click the lower radio button to upload a file from your workstation and click Select Images to navigate to it.

5. Click Add to add the gross image to the specimen. Click Cancel to abandon your changes.
